The project brings together photography, writing, and exhibition to create a lasting record of Jacksonville through the individuals shaping it.

Portraits of Influence

A portrait series documenting the people shaping Jacksonville today.

The Portraits

Each participant is photographed across four distinct portraits, revealing different aspects of who they are.

The Project

The series will feature a curated group of 15 individuals across business, civic leadership, culture, healthcare, philanthropy, and faith.

Each participant is photographed across a series of four portraits and paired with a short written profile.

Presence

~ A minimalist black and white portrait focused on identity.

The Place of Influence

~ An environmental portrait within their working world.

The Inner Portrait

~ A close, dramatic portrait revealing depth and character.

Reprieve

~ A cinematic portrait capturing their life beyond their role.

The goal is not a single image, but a more complete understanding of the individual.

The Exhibition

This work will be presented as a public exhibition in Jacksonville.

One 40×60 portrait Three supporting 16×20 portraits A written profile

Each participant is presented as a vignette, creating a series of personal encounters throughout the space. The exhibition is designed to feel like a portrait of the city, not a collection of individuals.
